Last year the forum discussed with Mrs Moore the state of the toilets. We discussed the taps in the toilets, because the pipes were leaking. We also talked about the idea of painting bright pictures on the toilet walls, to make the toilets look nice. Some toilet seats were damaged. We ended up deciding that the taps would be replaced. We thought that it would be a good idea to get taps that would switch themselves off to save water and stop people deliberately leaving the taps on. Mrs Moore was able to get money from they Accessibility Fund.
Some money was spent replacing broken toilet seats.
The primary 7 forum reps worked on a bid for money from the Enterprise Fund. We got £200 to buy paint and brushes. All that was left to do was to choose pictures. We had a competition to choose the designs. Here are some photographs of some finished designs.
Our toilets are now bright and have much better working taps. Mrs Moore was delighted with the work of the group and the improvement to the school.

The Forum reps are going to be very busy in classes as they will be asking you all what you would like to have for the rest of our special day menus this year. I look forward to reading what you have chosen. At our last meeting the Forum discussed Healthy eating for our Health week and voted to have a ‘Healthy Snack Week’. No sweets or fizzy drinks for the Health week ! I hope that everyone will support them and think of really healthy snacks to have instead. Why don’t you help each other by posting your ideas here?
